The Mushroom Festival Car Show was established during the Mansfield Village Mushroom Festival in 2000 to promote family fun & festivities for collector car owners in the historic village of Mansfield, Indiana.
The Mansfield Village Mushroom Festival is one of 8 Festivals held in Mansfield Village during the year. It is a two-day event happening April 26th & 27th in 2008. All events are held in the quaint village along the banks of Big Raccoon Creek. Besides the Car Show, other highlights for the weekend include the Mushroom Auction, Mushroom Hunt & Contest, village shoppes plus vendor booths throughout town, festival foods, and free tours at the Mansfield Roller Mill.
The Car Show is held in the ’Ole Barnyard of Mansfield Parke. Registration is at the Pavilion of Mansfield Parke located in the rear of the ‘Ole Barnyard location. The venue provides lots of space between blacktop lanes for one of the biggest shows in the area. A FREE Oldies Concert will be held at noon in the Pavilion featuring the piano-pumpin’ tunes of Blair Carman & The Belleview Boys. (For more information on this group, visit www.BlairCarmanBand.com) The awards ceremony will be held immediately following the concert at approximately 3 pm. A modern restroom facility is located on-site.
The weekend wouldn’t be complete without a fried mushroom sandwich available on the main road at The Mushroom Shack. Sample delicious varieties of other foods available throughout Mansfield Parke.
